Since manis aren't only about holo and glitter — though that would be really convenient — let's talk about nail care! I haven't always taken the best care of my nails, but I now find myself purchasing and using the same nail care products, and they really work for me. Read on to learn about some of my favorite items I use to care for both my hands and nails.
Favorite Hand scrub:
I use a homemade hand scrub that smells divine and feels amazing. Check out my recipe if you'd like to give it a go. It's super simple, I promise.
Favorite Hand Cream:
I can't get enough of SheaMoisture's Coconut & Hibiscus Hand Cream. It's made with natural and organic ingredients and leaves my hands feeling super moisturized, but not overly greasy. Ya know?
Favorite Nail Strengthener:
OPI's Nail Envy is appropriately named. This. Stuff. Is. Amazing. It keeps my nails so much harder and less prone to peeling. I was initially put off by the price, but that is not a concern whatsoever anymore. GET IT.
If you haven't tried cuticle oil from a brand called Emerald & Ash, you are definitely missing out on something wonderful in your life. My favorite scent, hands down, is Pumpkin Apple Butter. E&A offers so many others like Toasted Marshmallow, Chai Tea, and Bacon. Yes, I said bacon. If you're looking for something to moisturize your cuticles that isn't an oil, I also love Burt's Bee's Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream.
